Here’s the deal – What does a Business Developer do at Wellmo?

You might think: “yet another health platform” but wait a second – that’s not it! 

Wellmo platform enables customers to have better digital health services in a fast and cost-effective way. It’s a no-code/low-code glue that helps our customers tie together the digital services from their provider partners into a consistent, holistic, and branded experience for their end-users. Personalization is a key feature of the Wellmo platform meaning that customers can customize what each end user sees on the platform. Wellmo makes it easy to configure the service set, keep it fresh, and effectively reach their customers with a mobile app. 

As a Business Developer, your core responsibilities will be to 1) manage the entire sales pipeline, 2) identify potential clients and 3) effectively communicate the benefits and value of the Wellmo platform tailored to their specific needs and situations. 

Our typical customers are insurance companies and different health service providers, meaning that Wellmo’s end-users are their customers: consumers. Get to know some of our customers and what Wellmo platform looks like in real life, like Sweden’s largest insurance company Länsförsäkringar, the leading healthcare provider in the United Arab Emirates M42/Mubadala Health, and the Norwegian Ministry of Health.

So, there is a proven need in the market for this product, but now we need your help in spreading the word about these opportunities to customers! 

Our current annual revenue run rate is 2M€ and your task would be to scale the customer base and increase revenue towards 10 million euros. To help with this, you’ll have world-class references and strong support from the Wellmo team. 

You would be working closely with other team members offering sales support and with Wellmo’s Founder and CEO Jaakko Olkkonen who has been in charge of the sales function so far. But to be honest: he needs your help to tackle the pipeline. As a Business Developer, you would get to take charge of the sales function and lay the foundation for its growth as our team expands.
